01.Introduction
Auditcall ("Auditcall", "we", "us", or "our") provides cloud telephony, call tracking, virtual phone numbers, AI conversation analytics, and related communication services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This Policy applies to auditcall.com, app.auditcall.com, our APIs, mobile and desktop apps, and any other product or website that links to it.
02.Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information we collect automatically, and information from third parties.
- Account data — name, business email, phone, company, billing details, and login credentials.
- Communications content — call recordings, voicemails, SMS, transcripts, IVR inputs, and call metadata processed through the Services on your behalf.
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser, OS, pages viewed, referring URLs, and product interactions.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
- Support data — messages you send to our sales, support, or community channels.
03.How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- Provision phone numbers, route calls, and deliver call analytics and reporting.
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
- Bill customers, process payments, and manage subscriptions.
- Send service updates, security alerts, and — with consent where required — marketing.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
04.Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver the Services), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (for optional cookies and marketing), and legal obligation (for tax, accounting, and law enforcement requests).
06.Customer call data and recordings
When you use Auditcall to record, transcribe, or analyze calls, you are the controller of that content and Auditcall acts as your processor. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required by applicable law (including two-party-consent jurisdictions) and for configuring retention, redaction, and access controls. We process call content only on your documented instructions.
07.International data transfers
We operate globally and may transfer data to the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other regions. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum, and equivalent safeguards to protect cross-border transfers.
08.Data retention
We keep account and billing records for the life of the account and as required by tax, accounting, and audit laws. Call recordings, transcripts, and metadata are retained according to the retention settings you configure, after which they are deleted or de-identified.
09.Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, network segmentation, least- privilege access, continuous monitoring, and independent audits including AICPA SOC 2 and HIPAA-aligned controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage strong passwords, SSO, and two-factor authentication.
10.Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information.
- Port your data to another provider.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@auditcall.com. We respond within the timeframes required by law.
11.Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
12.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email before they take effect.
